Don’t say you don’t like anime on the internet, kids.
You don’t want what follows.

I’m not a fan of anime. But I can only imagine what would happen to you outside of the bubble of OPPO. What site was this on?

My wife looked at me sideways when I told her I watch Legend of Korra. It’s not even anime, but still I like cartoons much more than shows like Lerst, Game of Boning, and Mellow Men.

lol I’m 5.8 and weigh 170lbs, I just assumed that anyone who would argue about anime on the intertubes wouldn’t fight anyone for real.

Was it more “YOU’RE WRONG AND ALSO GAY AND DUMB” or “You just need to watch Ultimate Sukiyaki Bokkubai Seppuku 3: Hyper-Advanced Turbo HD Remix. It’s a really high-brow series for adults.”?

I can’t even begin to imagine what you are going through. Stick in there. It will get better.

It would be good if it didn’t always devolve into predictable, ridiculous tropes, i.e. exaggerated/ridiculous reactions to stuff, that one comic relief/fanservice character (you know who I’m talking about), endless flashbacks & recaps, overly dramatic pauses, etc. etc.
It’s the same problem that’s befallen pretty much all modern TV, really. Things like what’s outlined above are what audiences react positively to, so now the shows have become nothing but that stuff. Story, expression, and watchability are all sacrificed for cheap gags and fake drama that make people think the show is good when really it’s drivel.

I’m glad we had the same mental image.
